    But, why? It's just a cute story book about penguins. I can see the problem if you show this book and only this book in the classroom, but if you show other "normal" books along with it, I don't see the problem.

    Well, technically, it probably will not grow bigger. There may be as many, or even more, homosexuals when it wasn't socially acceptable, but since they were hiding their homosexuality, we will never know the actual number of homosexuals.
